Do you miss heading to a café to quietly work on your office tasks or your personal projects? Yes, the nostalgia is definitely strong, but if you’re really serious about looking for a conducive place to work that isn’t your home office, or you’re really trying to get your freelance career off the ground, then maybe (just maybe) you’d consider a change of pace and working by the beach. Idyllic, right? the good news is that someone has actually gone ahead and created a space for it.
As there have been a lot of travel and recreational restrictions due to the pandemic, many resorts have been forced to minimize operations or to close down. Baybayin Hub, which has been affected by these restrictions, then decided to convert their hostel/resort into a co-living and coworking space that adhere to health guidelines.
The Hub focuses on medium to long-term stays—you only need to pay a monthly membership fee of P149, and you get up to 80 percent off on accommodations. Some rooms start at around the P15K-mark, which isn’t really bad for rent, since you’ve got internet access as well as a beach-side flat.
